Named in honor of a former Clinic physician and founder of The Clinic Foundation, the late Dr. James A. Riley. These scholarships are for students who have decided to pursue a career in a health-related field. In 2010 the James Riley, M.D., Health Occupation Scholarship was split into two different scholarships, the James Riley, M.D., University Scholarship and The Corvallis Clinic Foundation Scholarship. The scholarship program reflects the Clinic Foundation’s goal of promoting a healthier community. The Clinic Foundation strives to take a more proactive role in supporting health-related projects that will help improve the community’s overall quality of life.
